- Julijus Grickevičius
Julijus Grickevičius is a communication specialist, cultural manager, and television presenter who holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Communication and a Master's degree in Integrated Communication from Vytautas Magnus University. As of 2025, he's teaching at the Faculty of Arts at Vytautas Magnus University.
With nearly two decades of experience, he has built expertise in cultural project management, public relations, marketing, and leadership. He served as spokesperson for the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra from 2009 to 2016, led the Department of Public Information at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society between 2016 and 2018, and was Deputy Director General and Head of Marketing at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre from 2018 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023, he led the LRT KLASIKA channel and later took on the role of Classical Music Editor at the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
Between 2016 and 2020, he served as President of the Lithuanian Jazz Union and continues to collaborate with the Vilnius Mama Jazz Festival. He hosts radio and TV programmes, leads events and discussions, writes about music for cultural media, and serves as the music editor for Nemunas magazine. He produces podcasts and takes part in international conferences.
He is actively engaged as a cultural expert for the Lithuanian Council for Culture, AGATA Publishing Foundation, Media Support Foundation, and Vilnius City Municipality. He took part in working groups for Kaunas 2022, the Season of Lithuania in France 2024, and the National Concert Hall.
Since 2025, he has been a member of the Artistic Council of Klaipėda State Music Theatre.
